Account Manager (Life Sciences)
Pauwels Consulting is a Belgian consulting firm with more than 500 experts in engineering, life sciences and IT. We offer consulting, project management and recruitment services to leading companies all over the world.
For the expansion of our services in the Netherlands, we are looking for an experienced Account Manager who is ready for a challenging opportunity and eager to expand our company’s activities in the region.
Responsibilities
Business Development / Account Management
- Define and execute a sales and account strategy in line with the company values and business objectives
- Development of client solutions and services, taking into account market challenges
- Drive the entire business development process by activating new business contacts, establishing propositions, finalizing price negotiations and contract closings
- Market analysis of life sciences clients and competitors
- Account management of consultants (project follow-up, issue management, career coaching, lead generation)
- Reporting towards the management board
Recruitment
- Define a recruitment strategy for your client portfolio
- Manage the entire candidate process: from search, till interview, client proposition, salary negotiations and contract finalisation
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a business development / sales / commercial / account management role
- Experience in industries such as IT, life sciences or engineering is required
- Experienced in activating new business deals in a sales position
- Track record in negotiations skills and closing of deals
- Entrepreneurial mindset and able to build strong relationships with customers and candidates
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Patience and ability to collaborate under pressure
- Fluent in Dutch and English
